This outing was organized for new international students.
In the company of Ms Guidal and Ms Gautier, from the Cellule AcOr support team, and two French as a Foreign Language teachers, Ms Adam and Ms Morvan, 20 students visited two companies based in Morlaix: Cellaouate and Grain de Sail.
- Cellaouate collects old newspapers to turn them into cellulose wadding, used for insulation.
- Grain de Sail makes chocolate from cocoa sourced from the Dominican Republic and transported by sailboat.
These businesses dedicated to environmental initiatives have actively embraced the circular economy and employ people with disabilities – setting an inspiring example for future engineers!
The students, from seven different countries, were also able to do some sightseeing in glorious sunshine. They enjoyed crossing the Morlaix Viaduct and walking in Huelgoat Forest.
