Spacieta

The members of the Spacieta club design and build mini-rockets or experimental rockets from A to Z.
Every year, the team takes part in the national launch campaign “C-Space” jointly organized by the CNES and Planète Sciences, near Tarbes.

With almost 20 years' experience behind it, the Spacieta club invites you to experience a “head in the stars” experience!

The club's aim is to help students discover space and design, build and fly their own rocket.

ENSTA Bretagne : Projet Spacieta

Multi-field practical projects

In this club, students draw on several scientific disciplines to design, build and test their rocket:

on-board electronics and computing: extensive work to create and set up all the circuits.
mechanical design: using different manufacturing methods, such as machining or 3D printing, to build the rocket's structure.

  • Objectives: get the rocket off the ground autonomously, take measurements, then deploy its parachute and land successfully!

Finally, when all the control tests have been validated, the students head off to the Ger camp near Tarbes in July for the C-Space challenge organized by CNES and Planète Sciences.

Their rocket can then be launched!
