2021 Science Festival in Brest

Student Life

Every year, scientific stakeholders from across France get together for the Science Festival to promote various research and scientific projects to the general public.

This is an opportunity for the crowds who always flock to this festival to chat with students, PhD students and researchers and find out more about different subjects (such as astronomy, chemistry, biology, energy or automotive engineering).

Students from ENSTA Bretagne get involved in this event every year, as it is not only a way for them to promote and raise the profile of their clubs, but also to develop their skills in terms of scientific outreach, public speaking and project management for example.

For the 2021 Festival, three student clubs will be taking it in turns to talk about the exciting projects they are working on:

  • ENSTAQUA: raising public awareness of marine ecology
  • ENSTA Bretagne Racing Team: project to design an autonomous vehicle
  • Shell Eco-Marathon: the most efficient electric vehicle for travelling the furthest on as little fuel as possible
