On its campus, ENSTA Bretagne conducts research activities in the mechanical sciences, information & communication science & technology and social sciences & humanities. A common thread running through many research projects carried out in liaison with French and international academic partners and industry is their consideration of environmental issues: extending the service life of materials, designing new, more efficient means of propulsion, assessing the impact of maritime transport on biodiversity, marine mammals in particular, etc.
Every year more than 300 engineering, Master’s, Specialized Advanced Master’s and PhD students graduate from ENSTA Bretagne. Many of them find work in the transport sector and play a part in innovation in this industry.
During a roundtable discussion, Mr Djebbari talked with ENSTA Bretagne’s students about the challenges facing the transport sector. They asked him a great many questions, especially about maritime transport.
This is a topical subject, since on February 9-11, 2022, Brest hosted the global event "One Ocean Summit", in which Mr Djebbari took part.
