Are you a researcher or a PhD student? ENSTA Bretagne's campus is home to an acclaimed multidisciplinary research center, widely-recognized laboratories, joint research centers (UMR), industrial research chairs and extensive experimental facilities. The school is accredited to grant PhD degrees and has joint supervision agreements with several doctoral schools.
Our research teams are organized into 3 departments and work in nationally and internationally recognized research labs:
- The Mechanical Science Department teams belong to IRDL (Institut de Recherche Dupuy de Lôme, UMR CNRS 6027) and participate in several industrial research chairs.
- The Information and Communication Science and Technology Department teams belong to Lab-STICC (UMR CNRS 6285) and also participate in industrial research chairs.
- The Human and Social Sciences Department teams belong to the Research Center on Professional Training and Adult Learning (FoAP, EA 7529).
In partnership with academics and businesses (85% of our research contracts involve industry), ENSTA Bretagne's nationally and internationally recognized research activity contributes to maintaining the excellence of its training while stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.
